Public Hospitals (Mapviewer)
Point file of public hospitals in South Australia as illustrated in the Mapviewer. Hospitals are classified by Public Hospital (Acute), Public Psychiatric Hospitals (sites dedicated to psychiatric services) and Public Rehabilitation Hospitals (sites dedicated to rehabilitation services). Contains an indicator of Emergency Service at the hospital. Not all hospitals have an emergency service. Emergency Department care is provided in an Emergency Department Short Stay Unit, as defined in clause C48 of the National Health Reform Agreement -National Partnership Agreement on Improving Public Hospital Services. Emergency service care is provided outside an Emergency Department Short Stay Unit.
