An Australian firm has built an app for Google Glass that turns it into a virtual time machine, displaying old historic photos of buildings and landmarks as a wearer passes them by.

The people’s choice award went to “Project What grows here?”, which aims to help people find out what plants will best suit their space and needs. It uses environmental data compiled by the federal and South Australian governments.
